I would like to welcome you to JC's Home Health Care Service. I have been specializing in the Home Health Care field for several years. I currently own and operate an agency here in Saint Louis, Missouri. Over the years, I have given beneficial advice to many enterprising business owners. Along the journey, I have encountered many obstacles which prompted me to create a consulting agency.

My goal is to assist your facility in organizing and maintaining state mandates, which will enable you to provide the most efficient service to your clients and your community.

As a home care professional we coordinate your care and see that you receive the services you need timely, effectively, and with the compassion and knowledge that comes from years of caring. Our personal care employees are thoroughly screened, reference checked, insured, and supervised by a Registered Nurse.

We have associated ourselves with several local health facilities to provide our clients with the most professional services such as The Missouri Department of Mental Health, St. Louis Regional Center, and St Louis Effort for Aids. Our agency employs are self motivated, certified nursing aides and registered nurses to meet many health maintenance needs.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Long-term Care Insurance, and private funds. We administer a combination of State, Local, Federal, and Privately funded programs, and as a result, can assist you in finding programs for which you may be eligible.

Q.How can you help me?

A.Our caring and dedicated staff includes licensed practical nurses and registered nurses, certified nurse aides, personal care aides, choreworkers and independent living support staff.

Our staff is trained and available to our eligible homebound clients who need short-term services to recover after hospitalization, need assistance with the activities of daily living, or maybe chronically ill and in need of long term care.

A.How do I pay for services?

Q.In the future we plan to accept “Medicare” as payment.

Our Customer Service staff will assist you to determine what program(s) will best serve your needs. If you need immediate assistance, you may choose to pay for services on a short-term basis. Please check Contact Us page.

Q.How do I qualify for Medicaid?

A.Medicaid is health insurance that helps those who can't afford medical care. In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a U.S. national, citizen, or permanent resident in need of health care/insurance assistance, whose financial situation would be characterized as low income or very low income.

Q.How do I qualify for Medicare?

A.You qualify for Medicare if:

You are a U.S. citizen, or have been a permanent legal resident for 5 continuous years, and are 65 years old or older.
You are under 65, disabled, and have been receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) for at least 24 months.
You get continuing dialysis for permanent kidney failure or need a kidney transplant.
You have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS-Lou Gehrig's disease).

Medicare is a Health Insurance Program administered by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). It is the nation's largest health insurance program, covering nearly 40 million Americans. For additional information, visit http://www.cms.hhs.gov/

If you are a Medicare recipient, you may receive nursing and rehabilitative care at home through JC's Home health Care Service, a certified home health agency. In order to receive services, you must meet the following criteria:

Be confined to the home.
Be under a plan of care established by a physician.
In need of skilled services; skilled service is care that is supervised by either a Registered Nurse or a Registered Physical Therapist.

Q.What is private pay?

A.Private pay is for individuals who can afford to pay with their own funds for services. It is also a short-term alternative for those who may be on a waiting list for government assistance, but need immediate care.

Q.What is long term care insurance?

A.Long term care insurance helps pay for the long term care services you might need as the result of a chronic disease, serious accident, sudden illness, or cognitive impairment, such as Alzheimer's Disease, that can limit a person's ability to think or reason.

Q.How do I enroll/sign up for services?

A.If you need home care and wish to pay for services, simply call our Customer Service Staff, one of our Customer Service Staff will assist you. Check the Contact Us page.

Q.Are your employees certified and insured?

A.Yes. All JC's Home Health Care Services employees undergo background screening, are reference checked and are registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. The agency also conducts quarterly screenings of all current employees with the Missouri Employment Disqualification List (EDL).

Q. When are employment applications submitted?
A. Applications are accepted Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Q. What are applicants required to submit with the application
A. Valid Photo ID (Required), Social Security Card (Required), Any Licensures – C.N.A, 1st Aid & or CPR(Optional), Resume (Optional)
